Council Ministry

  • Arise building about to commence, for God to raise up the necessary money and wisdom as to what to build and when
  • Give thanks for the birth of Madison Lily Ender
  • For our mens ministry. Pray for the commencement of a new mens Bible Study group. For wisdom as to how to develop that
  • For God to have mercy on our city as he draws many to himself

Bible Study Groups:

  • Thank you for faithfulness of those who attend Bible Study Groups.
  • Thank you for Bible Study Group leaders who spend much time in preparation and prayer for the bible studies.
  • For everyone in St Stephens to be in a bible study group.

Ministry Team

  • Thank you for our Pastoral and Ministry Teams.
  • Pray for the resolute study of the bible and being faithful in prayer.
  • Pray for God's protection for our Pastoral and Ministry Teams.

Children's Ministry

  • Pray for the Kids Camp on the 8th-10th August.
  • Pray for travelling mercies and safety.
  • Pray for the children to feel safe and comfortable away from home.
  • Pray that as we look at Daniel living in exile, that we would all be challenged!
  • Pray that the children would grow in their love and knowledge of God!
  • For the new term - pray for Sunday School (Promisedland) and Kids Club.

Youth Ministry

  • That teens will trust and accept the message in the letter of 1 John as we study it this term.
  • That they'll be talking to their non-Christian friends about Jesus.
  • For those not in dedicated small groups, that they'll see the importance of studying the bible on a weekly basis.
  • Pray for our leaders: Lauren, Jenny, Jo, Beth, Gary, Richard, Dylan and Gareth; that they will love Christ first and glorify Him, and by doing this lead our teenagers in a godly manner.
  • That they'll work hard at the letter of 1 John, letting God's word change their lives.
  • For our upcoming camp (18-20 Sep), that it'll be a great time of fellowship and encouragement. Pray also for our speaker, Byron Fester as he talks to us from 1 John.

 U-Turn

  • Thanks for safely arrived volunteers, a successful winter outreach and good beginnings in the meal voucher initiative.
  • Pray for several upcoming funding applications that will help us to continue to develop both the buildings and the work program.
