Bible Study Groups are the engine room of our church - in fact in Bible times, small groups of Christians meeting together were what the church comprised of. We anticipate, expect and encourage every member of St Stephens to be in a Bible Study Group.
Each week we meet together to
- Get to grips with God's word ourselves
- Get into real relationships with other Christians so that we can love and serve them
- Pray
- Organise ways, and encourage each other to speak to our friends about Christ
Groups meet at people's homes or at the church...
- Men's groups meet early morning before work.
- Women's' groups meet in the mornings, afternoons and evenings.
- Mixed groups meet in the evening on various nights of the week.
- Student Groups (Focus) meet Thursday nights over supper.
- Young Workers groups (Knowing God) meet Wednesday evening over supper.
- Teen groups meet at various times each week.
- Children's groups meet at various times each week.
The best way to get into a group is to chat to a staff member who will connect you with a group that suits you. Alternatively fill in a 'Small Group Finder' slip found at the back of the church or
